Aircraft Twirls Wildly into Palm Groves at Well-Known Southern California Shoreline
An aircraft hovering near a crowded California shoreline abruptly commenced twirling wildly, finally dropping height and crashing into a line of palm groves as beachgoers looked on.
Footage posted on the internet capture the aircraft beginning to twirl above the beach then falling in the direction of the edge of the coast, where it ends up lodged among palm groves and a staircase adjacent to the coastal road.
Emergency Response Update
The Huntington Beach fire department reported five persons were taken to hospital including two who were in the aircraft and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the accident on Saturday.
Three individuals on the pavement were hurt. Specifics on their wounds were not yet released.
What led to the incident was not yet disclosed.
